6.33

示眾云。有見有不見。日午點燈。無見無不見。夜半潑墨。若信見聞如幻瞖。方知聲色若空花。且道。教中還有衲僧說話麼。

Instruction to the assembly: Having seeing and having not-seeing: lighting a lamp at high noon. Lacking seeing and lacking not-seeing: splashing ink at midnight. If you believe seeing and hearing are like illusory cataracts, only then will you know that sound and form are like sky-flowers. Now tell me: within the doctrinal teachings, is there still any monk's talk?
