奪境不奪人。尋言何處真。問禪禪是妄。究理理非親。
日照寒光澹。山遙翠色新。直饒玄會得。
也是眼中塵（大慧云。要會日照寒光澹山搖翠色新麼。此二句是境。直饒玄會得。也是眼中塵。便奪了也）。

Snatching away the environment but not the person: / where is the truth in pursuing words? / Inquiring into Chan, Chan is delusion; / probing principle, principle is not intimate. / The sun shines, its cold light pale; / the mountains are distant, their emerald colour fresh. / Even if you profoundly comprehend it, / it is still dust in the eye. / (Dahui said: 'Do you want to understand "The sun shines, its cold light pale; the mountains are distant, their emerald colour fresh"? These two lines are the environment. "Even if you profoundly comprehend it, it is still dust in the eye"—here it is snatched away.')
