僧問風穴。如何是賓中賓。穴云。攢眉坐白雲。克符云。倚門傍戶。猶如醉。出言吐氣不慚惶。汾陽云。終日走紅塵。不識自家珍。又云。合掌庵前問世尊。慈明云。禮拜更慇懃。石門云。禮拜甚分明。雪竇云。滿目是埃塵。又云噫。

A monk asked Fengxue, “What is the guest within the guest?” Xue said, “Knitting the brows, sitting among white clouds.” Kefu said, “Leaning against the door and clinging to the household, as if intoxicated; spitting out words and breathing out air without any shame.” Fenyang said, “Running in the red dust all day long, not recognizing one’s own treasure.” He also said, “Palms joined before the hermitage, asking the World-Honoured One.” Ciming said, “Bowing with even more earnestness.” Shimen said, “Bowing very distinctly.” Xuedou said, “The eyes are filled with dust.” He also said, “Alas!”
