通再啟曰：「四智之義，可得聞乎？」師曰：「既會三身，便明四智。何更問耶？若離三身，別談四智，此名有智無身。即此有智，還成無智。」復說偈曰：

Tong inquired again, saying, "May I hear the meaning of the four wisdoms?" The Master said, "Since you understand the trikāya, you already understand the four wisdoms; why ask further? If you discuss the four wisdoms apart from the trikāya, this is called having wisdom without kāyas; then this very wisdom turns into non-wisdom." He spoke another gāthā, saying:
