師聞之，曰：「此偈未明心地，若依而行之，是加繫縛。」因示一偈曰：
When the Master heard it, he said, "This verse does not clarify the ground of mind. If one relies upon it and practices it, it will only add fetters." Thereupon he presented a verse:
