夫既法輪遍一切處。無有間斷。常恒說者。云何更逐會結集。說處不同。如華嚴九會之文。法華三周之說。

Now, since the wheel of the Dharma pervades all places without interruption and is constantly and perpetually expounded, why is it further compiled according to assemblies with different locations of exposition, such as the text of the nine assemblies of the Huayan and the teaching of the three cycles of the Lotus?
