答。廣略不等。皆為對機。以一顯多。令入無盡。如華嚴指歸云。謂於一剎那中。則遍無盡之處。頓說如此無邊法海。

Answer: The broad and the concise are not equal, all being for the sake of responding to capacity, revealing the manifold by means of the one, causing entry into the inexhaustible. As the Huayan zhigui states: "It means that in a single kṣaṇa, it pervades inexhaustible places, suddenly expounding such an boundless ocean of Dharma."
