問。但了一心。能成深觀者。若無位次。皂白何分。須合教乘以祛訛濫。教觀雙辯。方契佛心。

Question: If simply understanding the one mind enables one to accomplish profound contemplation, then without stages and ranks, how can black and white be distinguished? One must align with the doctrinal vehicles to dispel errors and confusion; only when teaching and contemplation are both elucidated does one accord with the Buddha's mind.
