問。若言具有生滅有勝用有增減三義。即名能緣者。且如他人前七識。亦有上三義。應與此人第八熏得種不。

Question: If possessing the three criteria of having arising and cessation, having superior function, and having increase and decrease qualifies one as an active cognitive agent, then another person's first seven consciousnesses also possess these three criteria; should they perfume and produce seeds in this person's eighth consciousness?
