問。心與心所。既非自類。如八種識。恒時俱轉。體用各殊。如何俱起望後。並得互為緣義。

Question: Since citta and mental factors are not of their own category, and just as the eight consciousnesses constantly evolve together with different substances and functions, how can they, arising together, both have the sense of mutually serving as conditions for the subsequent?
