問。若具三義。便成所依者。且如第八識現行。望識中種子。亦有決定有境為主三義。即此等八識現行。應與種子為俱有依。

Question: If possessing three characteristics makes something a basis, then the active manifestation of the eighth consciousness, in relation to the seeds within the consciousness, also possesses the three characteristics of determination, possessing an object, and acting as lord. Thus, this active eighth consciousness should be the simultaneous base for the seeds.
