96.27

寶篋經云。文殊師利。告大德舍利弗。如恒沙劫。火災熾然。終不燒空。如是舍利弗。一一眾生恒河沙劫。造作逆罪不善之業。然其心性終不可污。

The *Baoqie jing* says: 'Mañjuśrī told the Venerable Śāriputra: "Even if the conflagration blazed for kalpas as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, it would never burn empty space. In the same way, Śāriputra, even if each and every sentient being were to commit heinous offenses and unwholesome karma for kalpas as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, their citta-nature could never be defiled."'
