97.21

第十二祖馬鳴。尊者傳法偈云。隱顯即本法。明暗元不二。今付悟了法。非取亦非棄。

The Dharma-transmission verse of the twelfth patriarch, the venerable Aśvaghoṣa, says:
“Concealment and manifestation are precisely the original dharma;
Light and darkness are fundamentally non-dual.
Now I entrust the Dharma of having awakened:
It is neither grasped nor abandoned.”
