97.24

第十五祖迦那提婆尊者傳法偈云。本對傳法人。為說解脫理。於法實無證。無終亦無始。

The Dharma-transmission verse of the fifteenth patriarch, the venerable Kāṇadeva, says:
“Originally facing the one to whom the Dharma is transmitted,
I preach for him the principle of liberation.
Regarding dharmas there is truly nothing realized;
There is neither end nor beginning.”
