97.25

第十六祖羅睺羅尊者傳法偈云。於法實無證。不取亦不離。法非有無相。內外云何起。

The Dharma-transmission verse of the sixteenth patriarch, the venerable Rāhulata, says:
“Regarding dharmas there is truly nothing realized;
It is neither grasped nor departed from.
Dharmas are without the marks of existence and non-existence;
How could internal and external arise?”
