安禪師云。直心是道。何以故。直念直用。更不觀空。亦不求方便。經云。直視不見。直念不思。直受不行。直說不煩。

Chan Master An said: "The straight mind is the Way. Why? Direct mindfulness and direct functioning, no longer contemplating emptiness, nor seeking expedient means. A sūtra says: 'Looking straight, one does not see; thinking straight, one does not deliberate; receiving straight, one does not act; speaking straight, one is not vexed.'"
