97.60

覺禪師云。若悟心無所屬。即得道跡。眼見一切色。眼不屬一切色。是自性解脫。經云。一切法不相屬故。心與一切法。各不相知。

Chan Master Jue said: "If one awakens to the citta having no affiliation, one attains the traces of the Way. The eye sees all forms, yet the eye does not belong to all forms; this is the liberation of self-nature. A sūtra says: 'Because all dharmas do not belong to one another, the citta and all dharmas each do not know one another.'"
