97.65

慧慈禪師云。夫法性者。大道也。法是法身。性是覺性。即眾生自然性也。是以金剛般若。如大火聚。三昧焰焰諸累莫入。故稱天上天下。唯我獨尊。

Chan Master Huici said: "The dharma-nature is the Great Way. Dharma is the dharmakāya; nature is the awakened nature—that is, the natural nature of sentient beings. Therefore, the diamond prajñā is like a great mass of fire; the blazing flame of samādhi admits no encumbrances. Hence it is proclaimed: 'Above the heavens and below the heavens, I alone am honored.'"
