98.6

騰騰和尚歌云。修道道無可修。問法法無可問。迷人不悟非空。達者本無逆順。八萬四千法門。至理不過方寸。煩惱正是菩提。淨華生於泥糞。識取自家城邑。莫謾遊他州郡。

The song of Venerable Tengteng says: / In cultivating the Way, there is no Way to cultivate; / In inquiring of the Dharma, there is no Dharma to inquire of. / The deluded do not awaken to non-emptiness; / For the realized, there is fundamentally neither adversity nor favor. / The eighty-four thousand Dharma-gates— / Their ultimate principle does not exceed the square inch [of the mind]. / Kleśa is precisely bodhi; / Pure flowers grow from mud and dung. / Recognize your own city and township; / Do not falsely wander into other provinces and commanderies.
