Answer: Although seeds are not separate from the svasaṃvittibhāga, when the darśanabhāga conditions [them], it only conditions seeds and does not condition the svasaṃvittibhāga. If it conditioned the svasaṃvittibhāga, it would commit the fault of conditioning internally during the causal stage. It is like the salty taste in water, or the gelatinous blue in colors.
