A verse from the Tuoluoni sanmei famen says:
‘This Dharma is the highest among phenomena,
Just like Mount Sumeru.
This Dharma is the ocean among phenomena,
To which all streams converge.
This Dharma is the bright light among phenomena,
Just like the moon among the stars.
This Dharma is the lamp among phenomena,
Able to destroy boundless darkness.
This Dharma is the earth among phenomena,
Bearing and supporting throughout the ten directions.
This Dharma is the mother among phenomena,
Giving birth to the seed of all Buddhas.’
