問：「經云：『但凡夫之人，貪著其事。』又云：『取相凡夫，隨宜為說。』若得理本，萬行俱圓，何須事跡，而興造作乎？」

Question: "A sūtra says: 'Only ordinary people are greedily attached to phenomena.' It also says: 'For ordinary people who grasp at characteristics, it is taught according to what is appropriate.' If one attains the fundamental principle, the myriad practices are all consummate; why should one require phenomenal traces and initiate intentional actions?"
