答：「菩薩本為度他，是以先修定慧。空閑靜處，禪觀易成；少欲頭陀，能入聖道。《法華經》云：『又見菩薩，勇猛精進，入於深山，思惟佛道。』」

Answer: "The bodhisattva originally aims to liberate others, and therefore first cultivates concentration and wisdom. In an empty, idle, and quiet place, dhyāna-contemplation is easily accomplished; with few desires and the dhūta practices, one can enter the noble path. The Saddharmapuṇḍarīka Sūtra states: 'Again I see bodhisattvas, / Valiant and vigorous, / Entering deep mountains / To contemplate the Buddha path.'"
