2.55

高菴曰。學者所存中正。雖百折挫而浩然無憂。其或所向偏邪。朝夕區區為利是計。予恐堂堂之軀。將無措於天地之間矣（真牧集）。

Gao'an said: "If what a student harbours within is balanced and upright, even through a hundred setbacks he remains vastly serene without sorrow. But if his orientation is partial and corrupt, busying himself from morning to evening calculating solely for profit, I fear that his imposing physical frame will find nowhere to place itself between heaven and earth." (Zhenmu Ji)
