4.24

拙菴曰率。身臨眾要以智遣妄。除情須先覺。背覺合塵則心蒙蔽矣。智愚不分則事紊亂矣（晝監寺書）。

Zhuo'an said: "To lead oneself and oversee the assembly, one must use wisdom to dispel delusions. To eliminate passions, one must first be awakened. If one turns one's back on awakening and unites with dust, the mind becomes obscured; if wisdom and foolishness are not distinguished, affairs become chaotic." (Letter to Prior Zhou)
