莫言此費不多爭。萬事皆從洗麫生。舜帝昔年為漆器。
百僚猶諫不須行。

Do not say this expense is not worth disputing;
Ten thousand troubles all arise from washing flour.
When Emperor Shun in ancient times made lacquered vessels,
The hundred officials still remonstrated that it should not be done.
