○槽中之水須頻換新者。蓋水留三宿只生細虫。夏月則不至三宿。切莫停積死水。若無淨頭之處。仰宣力者。結緣措置。免傷物命。

○ The water in the trough must frequently be changed for fresh water. For water left for three nights will produce tiny insects; in summer months, it does not even take three nights. Absolutely do not let stagnant dead water accumulate. If it is a place without a privy cleaner, those of dedicated effort should make arrangements to resolve it and avoid harming living beings.
