鐵面昺禪師。行脚時。離鄉未久。聞受業一夕遺火悉為煨燼。得書擲之地曰。徒亂人意耳。
When Chan Master Tiemian Bing was on his traveling study, not long after leaving his hometown, he heard that an accidental fire one night had burned his ordination monastery entirely to ashes. Receiving a letter [informing him], he cast it to the ground and said: 'This merely disturbs the mind.'
