雪堂曰。予在龍門時。昺鐵面住太平。有言。昺行脚離鄉未久聞受業一夕遺火悉為煨燼。昺得書擲之於地。乃曰。徒亂人意耳（東湖集）。

Xuetang said: "When I was at Longmen, Bing the Iron-Faced resided at Taiping. Someone said: 'Not long after Bing set out on his travels and left his home region, he heard that the temple where he was ordained was consumed by fire one night and reduced completely to ashes. When Bing received the letter, he threw it to the ground and said: "It merely disturbs one's mind!"'"
