評曰。曰求道。曰聞此微妙法門。曰樂求大乘。曰精存道奧。曰求於無為。如是精進。名正精進。不然縱勞形苦志。累歲經劫或淪外道。或墮偏乘。終無益也。

Commentary: Stating 'seek the Way,' stating 'hearing this subtle and marvelous Dharma door,' stating 'delight in seeking the Mahāyāna,' stating 'maintain precision in the mystery of the Way,' and stating 'seeking the unconditioned'—vigor such as this is called right vigor. Otherwise, even if one toils the body and suffers the mind for years and through kalpas, one will either sink into heterodoxy or fall into a one-sided vehicle, being ultimately of no benefit.
