五月　端午日早晨知事僧堂內燒香點菖蒲茶。住持上堂次第建青苗會。堂司預出諸寮看經誦經單。直歲點檢諸處整漏。疏浚溝渠。方丈詣諸寮諸庵塔。各作一日點茶溫存。僧堂內掛帳。

Fifth Month. On the Dragon Boat Festival, early in the morning, the administrators burn incense in the Sangha hall and offer sweet-flag tea. The abbot ascends the hall, and subsequently the Green Sprouts assembly is established. The hall administrator's office issues in advance the roster for reading and reciting scriptures in the various dormitories. The manager of grounds inspects various places to repair leaks and dredge ditches. The abbot's quarters visits the various dormitories, hermitages, and stupas, spending a day at each to offer tea and express solicitude. Inside the Sangha hall, bed-curtains are hung.
