德修。淳熙間。居金華。撰釋氏通紀。其紀釋迦。則附以慈恩三時之教。一代化事。最為疎略。又以五運圖。石柱銘。三寶錄。言佛生皆不同。糅雜於佛紀正文。甚失撰述之體。其敘時事。與琇本互有出入。而徒取乎冗長之辭也。

Dexiu resided in Jinhua during the Chunxi era and compiled the Shishi tongji. In recording Śākya[muni], he appended the Ci'en [tradition's] teaching of the three periods, and his account of the Buddha's lifetime conversion deeds was most cursory and sketchy. Furthermore, using the Wuyun tu, the Inscription on the Stone Pillar, and the Sanbao lu, which all record the Buddha's birth differently, he mingled them into the primary text of the Annals of the Buddha, greatly deviating from the proper form of historiography. His narration of contemporary events diverges in various ways from Xiu's text, merely adopting prolix and verbose language.
