2.10

序曰。華嚴云。如來住胎現大宮殿。示現住兜率。乃至般涅槃。或見在兜率。乃至或見入涅槃。此則於住胎一相之中備見八相。此荊溪所謂一一相中皆八相故也。

The Preface states: The Huayan states that the Tathāgata, while abiding in the womb, manifested a great palace, displaying his dwelling in Tuṣita up to his parinirvāṇa; or he was seen in Tuṣita, up to being seen entering nirvāṇa. This means that within the single aspect of abiding in the womb, all eight aspects are fully seen. This is what Jingxi referred to when saying that 'within each and every aspect, there are all eight aspects.'
