27.125

淨觀居嘉禾寂光菴。修淨土懺法十餘年。謂弟子曰。我後月二十七日當去。至兩日前見紅華。次日黃華滿室。皆有化生孩兒。仙帶結束。及期入龕坐。命眾誦經念佛。頃之即脫去。

Jingguan resided at the Jiguang Hermitage in Jiahe. He cultivated the Pure Land repentance ritual for more than ten years. He said to his disciples: "I shall depart on the twenty-seventh day of next month." Two days before the date, he saw red flowers; the next day, yellow flowers filled the room, all with transformed infant children adorned with celestial ribbons. When the time came, he entered the niche, sat down, and commanded the assembly to recite the sūtras and chant the Buddha's name. Shortly thereafter, he passed away.
