曇弘。南適交趾誦觀經不記數。於山崦聚薪焚身。得舍利數百。人見弘身金色乘金鹿向西去。

Tanhong: He traveled south to Jiaozhi and recited the Contemplation Sūtra countless times. In a mountain gorge, he gathered firewood and self-immolated. Several hundred relic grains were retrieved. People saw Hong's body golden-hued, riding a golden deer toward the west.
