仁和郭氏妙圓。長齋念佛。誦法華彌陀經及二懺。常諦觀落日對想西方。忽空中告云。郭妙圓決生淨土。清照亨律師。即其兄。嘗往寺中建繫念會。作百僧齋莊嚴淨土。臨終之際請亨師說法。求佛接引。即時端坐凝然不動。

Lady Guo, [styled] Miaoyuan, of Renhe, kept a perpetual vegetarian diet and recited the Buddha's name. She chanted the Lotus Sūtra, the Amitābha Sūtra, and two repentance texts. She regularly contemplated the setting sun intently, focusing her thoughts on the Western Direction. Suddenly a voice announced in the sky, 'Guo Miaoyuan is certain to be born in the Pure Land.' Vinaya Master Qingzhaoxiang was her brother; she had frequently gone to his monastery to establish mindfulness assemblies and host feasts for a hundred monks to adorn the Pure Land. When her end approached, she invited Master Heng to preach the Dharma and sought the Buddha's guidance. Instantly she sat upright, completely still and motionless.
