沈銓家錢唐。同妻施氏專心淨土。請照律師依觀經繪九品往生圖。印施般若經。供佛飯僧。徑山天寧五剎皆建大殿像。平時諸善悉用回向銓及施氏前後命終。皆感化佛持錫接引西去。

Shen Quan's family lived in Qiantang. Together with his wife, Lady Shi, he dedicated his mind to the Pure Land. They invited Vinaya Master Zhao to paint an illustration of Rebirth in the Nine Grades according to the Contemplation Sūtra, printed and distributed the Prajñā Sūtra, made offerings to the Buddha, and fed monks. At the five monasteries of Jingshan and Tianning, they built great halls and statues. All their ordinary good deeds were entirely dedicated [to the Pure Land]. When Quan and Lady Shi passed away, one after the other, they were both moved by transformed Buddhas holding tin staffs to welcome and guide them to the West.
