沈氏妙智。四明慈溪居。自幼蔬食念佛。長歸章氏。未嘗中廢。施米貸被以濟饑寒。常誦彌陀經為日課。一夕微病念佛尤力。忽見佛菩薩居士長者擁立目前。燈光千點累累然狀如虹橋。即日右脇吉祥凝然不動（端平二年）。

Lady Shen, [named] Miaozhi, resided in Cixi, Siming. From her youth, she followed a vegetarian diet and recited the Buddha's name. When she grew up, she married into the Zhang family, but never abandoned [her practice] halfway. She gave away rice and lent quilts to relieve hunger and cold. She constantly recited the Amitābha Sūtra as her daily task. One evening, mildly ill, she recited the Buddha's name with even greater vigor. Suddenly, she saw Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, lay practitioners, and elders gathered before her eyes, and a thousand points of lamplight, clustered like a rainbow bridge. That very day, resting on her right side in the auspicious posture, she became utterly still and passed away (the second year of Duanping).
