玗之子永逸。官宣義。每習十六觀歷三十年。忽見三聖來迎。結印而化。頂熱有異香。

Gan’s son Yongyi held the post of Court Gentleman for Manifesting Righteousness. He constantly practiced the sixteen contemplations for thirty years. Suddenly, he saw the Three Sages coming to welcome him; forming a mudrā, he passed away. The crown of his head was warm and gave off an extraordinary fragrance.
