玗之妻王氏。修十念法持破地獄真言。嘗夢地獄主者。謝以持偈呪之賜。後因寢疾念佛而亡。親戚侍妾咸夢。王氏言得生淨土。

Gan’s wife, Lady Wang, cultivated the ten-recitations practice and upheld the dhāraṇī for shattering the hells. She once dreamed that the lord of the hells thanked her for the gift of upholding the verses and dhāraṇī. Later, while bedridden with illness, she recited the Buddha’s name and died. Relatives and maidservants all dreamed that Lady Wang said she had attained birth in the Pure Land.
