28.7

淨真。居長安積善寺納衣乞食。誦金剛經十萬遍。專志念佛。語弟子曰。五月內十度見佛。兩度見淨土寶蓮花上童子遊戲。吾已得上品生言訖加趺而化祥光滿寺。

Jingzhen resided at Jishan Monastery in Chang'an, wearing patched robes and begging for food. She recited the Diamond Sūtra one hundred thousand times and single-mindedly recited the Buddha’s name. She told her disciples, “Within the fifth month I have seen the Buddha ten times, and twice I have seen boys playing upon precious lotus flowers in the Pure Land. I have already attained birth in the superior grade.” Having finished speaking, she sat cross-legged and passed away, an auspicious light filling the monastery.
