3.84

初為憍陳如說四聖諦法。汝今應當知苦斷集證滅修道。當佛三轉四諦十二行法輪（因果經○法華經。大通受請。三轉十二行法輪）。

He first expounded the Dharma of the Four Noble Truths for Ājñātakauṇḍinya: "You now ought to know suffering, sever its origin, realize its cessation, and cultivate the path." At that time, the Buddha thrice turned the Dharma wheel of the Four Truths and twelve aspects. (Guo qu ying guo jing. In the Lotus Sūtra, Mahābhijñājñānābhibhū accepted the entreaty and thrice turned the twelve-aspect Dharma wheel.)
