30.17

世間最初有一天子。從光音沒來生大梵空殿之中。是為梵王。經一減一增。念言。無有梵子來生我處（梵王先生後沒。經成住壞空六十小劫。以此為壽）。

Initially in the world there was a devaputra who passed away from the Ābhāsvara Heaven and was born into the empty palace of Great Brahmā. He was the Brahmā King. After one decrease and one increase had passed, he thought: 'There are no Brahmā-sons born into my abode' (The Brahmā King is born first and passes away last; his lifespan lasts through the sixty small kalpas of formation, abiding, destruction, and voidness).
