33.14

無盡燈　賢首法藏師。為則天以十鏡置八隅中安佛像。然燈照之則鏡鏡現像。以表剎海重重無盡之意（諸宗立教志）。

The Inexhaustible Lamp: Master Fazang of Xianshou placed ten mirrors in eight corners with a Buddha image set in the center for Empress Zetian, and lit a lamp to illuminate them, so that the image appeared in mirror after mirror, in order to express the meaning of the boundless and inexhaustible layers of the sea of buddha-lands (from the *Treatise on the Establishment of Teachings by the Various Schools*).
