四年西域沙門室利房等十八人。齎佛經來化。帝以其異俗囚之。夜有丈六金神破戶出之。帝驚稽首稱謝。以厚禮遣出境（朱上行經錄）。

In the fourth year, eighteen śramaṇas of the Western Regions, including Śrībandhu, came to convert [the people], bringing Buddhist scriptures. The Emperor imprisoned them because of their strange customs. At night, a sixteen-foot golden spirit smashed the door and released them. The Emperor was startled, bowed his head to apologize, and sent them out of the border with generous gifts (Zhu Shixing's Scriptural Catalogue).
