十三年。十二祖摩羅。於南天竺以法藏付龍樹。樹於佛滅後七百年出。九十日中誦通三藏。造大無畏論十萬偈明第一義（一名大智度論。龍樹事迹見一十四祖紀）。

In the thirteenth year, the Twelfth Patriarch, Kapimala, in Southern India, entrusted the treasury of the Dharma to Nāgārjuna. Nāgārjuna appeared seven hundred years after the Buddha's parinirvāṇa. In ninety days, he recited and mastered the Tripiṭaka, and composed the Great Fearlessness Treatise in one hundred thousand verses to illuminate the ultimate truth (also named the Mahāprajñāpāramitā-śāstra; Nāgārjuna's deeds appear in the record of the Fourteenth Patriarch).
