述曰。僧史略之言云。漢度阿潘受三歸也。晉度淨檢從一眾也。二眾得戒自此年慧果始也。

The Commentary states: The words of the *Brief History of the Saṅgha* say, 'The Han ordaining Apan was receiving the three refuges; the Jin ordaining Jingjian was following a single assembly. Obtaining the precepts from both assemblies began in this year with Huiguo.'
