二十年。沙門慧嚴卒。帝詔慰曰。嚴法師。氣識淵遠道學之匠。奄爾遷神痛悼於懷。可給錢五萬布五十疋。
In the twentieth year, the śramaṇa Huiyan passed away. The Emperor issued an edict of condolence saying: 'Dharma Master Yan had deep and far-reaching spirit and insight, a master of religious learning. His sudden passing is deeply mourned in my heart. Let fifty thousand coins and fifty bolts of cloth be bestowed.'
