三年。宗玄先生孟仲暉造夾紵佛。其像每夜遶座行道。足跡成文。士庶瞻敬咸仰神異。後五年像忽隱去。

In the third year, Master Zongxuan, Meng Zhonghui, made a dry-lacquer statue of the Buddha. Every night, the statue would circumambulate the seat practicing the Path, its footprints forming patterns. Gentry and commoners looked up to it in reverence, all marveling at the divine anomaly. Five years later, the statue suddenly vanished.
