聖歷元年五月。義淨三藏自西竺還。車駕御上東門迎勞。詔以所奉金剛座佛真容舍利梵經。置佛授記寺道場。集眾翻譯。

In the fifth month of the first year of the Shengli reign era, Tripiṭaka Master Yijing returned from Western India. The imperial carriage presided at the Upper East Gate to welcome and comfort him. An edict ordered that the true likeness of the Buddha at the vajrāsana, relics, and Sanskrit scriptures he presented be placed in the bodhimaṇḍa of the Foshouji Monastery, and assembled the multitude to translate them.
